Our story began in the summer of 2015 in Richmond, Virginia, where fate (and our amazing friend Kelsey) brought us together. Parker was interning in Nicole’s hometown, and while our connection started as a friendship, there was always something more.

Life took us in different directions—Parker returned to Georgetown for his final year, and Nicole went back to UVA—but as fate would have it, our paths were meant to cross again.

A few years later, despite living on different coasts, we reconnected. Nicole was building her career in Austin, Texas, and Parker had settled into the tech world in San Francisco. Thanks to frequent work trips (that may or may not have become more intentional), we found ourselves back in each other’s lives—this time, for good.

After 1.5 years of long-distance, we knew it was time to take the next step. As luck would have it, Nicole landed a new job in San Francisco, and our weekend adventures turned into everyday experiences. From discovering the city’s best food, wine, music, and hikes to traveling the world, we’ve built a life filled with love, adventure, and plenty of amazing memories.

In 2024, we welcomed a fun-loving new addition to our family—our golden pup, Obie, named after our home alongside Ocean Beach. Obie played a starring role in our engagement at Sutro Heights Park, eagerly fetching and delivering a very special ring (and a very important question) that made it official.

Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you—our family, friends, and the city that has become our home—on Memorial Day weekend 2026. We hope to see you there!
