What should I wear?

Our Wedding is Black Tie Optional.

• We would appreciate if men wear suit + tie (or tuxedos if they wish).

• Women should aim to wear tea or floor length dresses.

Our Welcome Event is Dressy/Cocktail attire.

• Please no denim or jeans.

• We would appreciate if men wear slacks and a button down, jacket is optional.

• Women should aim to wear cocktail attire or sundresses.

Our Sunday Brunch is Casual - whatever makes you comfortable and feels good. We always recommend bringing a jacket!

**Generally, May in San Francisco and Sausalito is mild and dry with lows around 51° F and a highs around 65° F. Please check the weather the week prior to coming for any unexpected weather.

It is always smart to bring a light jacket or shawl to throw on (especially when in the shade or as the sun goes down) as it can get breezy and cool in the morning and evening. Can also be cooler if there is a visit from Karl the Fog.

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the the Mission Blue Lawn at Cavallo Point Lodge, with an indoor option available in case of unfavorable weather. Our reception will be held indoors.

We suggest checking the forecast closer to the wedding date and highly recommend bringing a jacket or shawl to stay comfortable!

Is parking available at wedding venue?

Yes, complimentary valet parking is available on-site for all hotel AND wedding guests.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the wedding venue?

Yes, shuttle service will be available for guests staying at _____. Buses will transport guests to the venue and back to the hotels after the reception. Exact shuttle times are still to be determined and will be updated closer to the wedding date.

If you're staying elsewhere, we recommend using Uber or Lyft for transportation to the ceremony.

For those driving, complimentary valet parking is available at the venue.

When should I book my travel?

To ensure the best rates and availability, please book your travel well in advance! Our wedding weekend coincides with Memorial Day Weekend 2026, so options may fill up quickly.

Where is the nearest airport?

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest airport and located about 40 minutes from Cavallo Point Lodge and about 30 minutes from city center of San Francisco.

• Please be mindful of traffic on the 101 as sometimes times can vary by 15 minutes during rush hour on Fridays and Mondays.

Oakland International Airport (OAK) is located about 55 minutes from Cavallo Point Lodge and about 40-45 minutes from city center of San Francisco.

• Please be mindful of traffic across The Richmond Bridge or The Bay Bridge as times can vary by 15 minutes during rush hour Fridays and Mondays.

Are kids welcome?

Although we love your kids, we are hosting an adults-only wedding.

If you are looking to travel with kids, or can't leave them behind, we can provide you with a list of baby-sitting services.

Is attendance required for all weekend events?

Not at all. We truly appreciate the effort you’ve made to join us for our wedding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you, whether it’s on our wedding day itself or at any of the events around it that weekend (Friday and Sunday)!

Given our wedding falls on Memorial Day Weekend, we wanted to offer a few different places to visit in and around San Francisco during one of the best times of the year! If you have other plans you’d like to make, no problem. We hope to see you at our Saturday Wedding!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation includes “and guest,” we have reserved a spot for you to bring someone. If not, we have planned for just you.
